Accounting/Facilities Assistant

Analgesic Solutions is looking for a talented Finance/Facilities Assistant to be an integral part of our dynamic administrative team. This role will have primary responsibility for all bookkeeping and administrative task related to A/P, A/R and Facilities.

Candidates must possess outstanding organizational and time management skills, impeccable attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Office Manager:

  • Daily bookkeeping including A/P, A/R, account reconciliations, collections, assisting with monthly close and other special projects.
  • Contract administration and tracking
  • Coordination of vendors and vendor contracts
  • Tracking of all employee timesheets
  • All facilities related tasks including coordination of repairs and maintenance with outside vendors
  • Bookkeeping and tracking of all property management issues including tenant leases and rent/CAM charge payments
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • MUST have strong QuickBooks, Excel and related computer skills
  • 5 years bookkeeping experience
  • Knowledge of facilities and property management
  • High degree of initiative and personal accountability
  • Must have the ability to sometimes lift/move office supplies up to 25 lbs.

CLINICAL PAIN RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

Analgesic Solutions’ Clinical Pain Research Fellowship provides the opportunity to learn all aspects of conducting clinical trials of analgesics for pain, with a focus on pharmacologic treatment of chronic pain.  The candidate should have an MD degree and be eligible for a Massachusetts license.   The one-year Fellowship, with possible renewal for a second year, is designed to enable the Fellow to be an independent investigator by the completion of the Fellowship.  Nathaniel Katz, MD, MS, is responsible for directing the Fellow, although the Fellow will interact with a diverse research team including research psychologists, nurses, statisticians, data managers, financial administrators, study coordinators, medical writers, etc.

The fellow is expected to make a substantive contribution to one or more of the following areas of research:

  • Psychometrics and Outcomes Measurement, including Quantitative Sensory Testing; Design and Measurement of Quality of Life, Health, Pain, and Analgesic Efficacy Surveys; Measurement of Clinically Important Difference and Minimally Clinical Important Difference for Outcomes Measures
  • Research Design, including improving Proof of Concept (POC) trials using psychometric testing; investigate methods to measure pain mechanisms and basic and advanced statistical analyses
  • Prescription Drug Abuse
  • Clinical Trials of analgesics

Selection is based on previous training and experience, personality match, research or publications background, and a genuine passion to develop better treatments for pain, and to improve the methods we use to study analgesic therapies.  Fellows are expected to produce publishable manuscripts; previous publications experience a plus.
Analgesic Solutions provides a cross-functional team environment where members from differing divisions work together to provide greater collaborative efforts and expanded learning opportunities and experience.  Although supervised by one or more experienced researchers, the ability to work independently is a must.

Clinical Program Manager

Responsibilities

The Clinical Program Manager is responsible for providing expert management for all clinical research activities and oversee all operational aspects of multiple clinical research programs and ensure that all activities support our business objectives. Additionally, the (CPM) will utilize exceptional leadership skills to “drive” projects, mitigate risks, manage vendors and ensure successful development and adherence to project plans, budgets, timelines and study tracking tools as well as compliance with all regulatory controls and standard operating procedures.

Skills and Knowledge Requirements

  • Minimum of seven years of clinical research experience, Minimum of five years experience as a Clinical Trial Manager with accountability for managing study budgets, timelines and quality
  • Knowledge of GCP and ICH
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience); Global Experience preferred
  • Highly advanced project management and leadership skills; communicates and demonstrates vision and commitment
  • Effective direct management and coaching skills
  • Effective influence and relationship management skills
  • Financial acumen in creating and managing clinical program budgets
  • Strong communication skills; verbal, written, and presentation
  • Broad knowledge and cross-functional understanding of clinical trial methodology
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations concerning the conduct of clinical studies
  • Knowledge of international regulations for clinical studies.
  • Familiarity with biostatistics techniques and methods.
  • Strong technical skills including advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Project

Research Assistant

Analgesic Solutions, an international leader in the area of pain research and the development of analgesics, is looking for a talented Research Assistant to be an integral part of our dynamic clinical team.

Responsibilities

The position of Research Assistant is responsible for supporting the activities of both Clinical Operations Unit and the Psychometrics Unit. These activities may be administrative, such as patient scheduling and file maintenance, as well as research-related, such as data entry and literature review tasks. The Research Assistant will work with the Unit Directors and other members of each unit to assist with the successful completion of clinical trials and Psychometric research. This position will assist with the creation, filing, and maintenance of documents, often of a confidential nature. The Research Assistant will work closely with colleagues as well as patients, both in person and on the telephone.

Skills and Knowledge Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • Superior organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Ability to complete work on an independent level as well as ability to collaborate in a team effort
  • Strong technical skills (working with formulas in Excel at a high level, ability to learn new software)
  • Some background in statistics/research methodology preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential information with care and discretion
  • Demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, strong work ethic and personal accountability

Research Clinic Manager

Analgesic Solutions, an international leader in the area of pain research and the development of analgesics, is looking for an experienced Research Clinic Manager to become an integral part of our dynamic clinical team. 

Candidates must possess a proven track record of managing the daily operations of our busy clinic as well as outstanding time management skills, impeccable attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities

The Research Clinic Manager is responsible for providing expert management for of daily clinic operations including:

  • Manage Investigative Site activities for multiple clinical  trials
  • Manage Clinic schedules/patient recruitment/patient flow
  • Manage all CRF documentation, prepare for all  monitoring visits
  • Perform patient assessments, coordinate and complete data collection
  • Prepare IRB submissions, maintain medical records
  • Maintain accountability logs, track budgets and timelines
  • Liaison  with sponsor , principal investigators, vendors and senior  management
  • Ensure professional standards are compliant
  • Establish education and community programs
  • Provide clinic development plans /strategies
  • Participate in establishing SOPs
  • Enforce GCP and regulatory compliance
  • Maintain DPH compliance
